John Deere 6215R being remapped and tested on farm

Avon Tuning Agri and Plant will be exhibiting at the inaugural West Country Farming and Machinery Show, showing the benefits to professional agricultural remapping and highlighting the opportunity for dealers and engineers to join its network of agents.

Along with being one of the main sponsors of the event, the Avon Tuning Agri and Plant stand will feature the latest Dimsport remapping kit used by the authorised agent network. The equipment now has increased functionality allowing a remap to be fitted to virtually any tractor on the market via the OBD port, including the latest Tier 5 machines.

Also on the stand will be the Dimsport DF2TR workshop dyno, which is aimed at dealerships and engineers looking for a stationary dynamometer capable of testing tractors up to 330hp. For those interested in becoming an Avon Tuning Agri and Plant authorised agent, a fully kitted out service van will be on show to demonstrate the type of equipment required when installing new maps on farm.

Gareth Jones, from Avon Tuning Agri and Plant, says the demand for increasing work efficiencies through remapping is growing. “We have seen an increased demand for engine power and reducing fuel use through professional remapping, and the new software allows the latest tractor models to be remapped.

“We are looking forward to supporting the first West Country Farming and Machinery Show. As we are based in Bristol this feels like a home show for us and it is a great chance to see existing and new customers, along with talking to prospective agents about becoming part of our agent network to carry out remapping on farm.”

Avon Tuning Agri and Plant will be on stand 26 at the one day show on 22 February at Westpoint Arena, Exeter.
